- Lehating Mine Limited – a high grade manganese mine +45% in Northern Cape South of South Africa (www.lehating.co.za).
- Alu Grate - holds the rights to an exclusive range of aluminium products:
- Rooftop Solar Walkways to fit all solar PV platforms;
- Road and Rail Tanker Walkways; and
- Conveyor Service Walkways.

Marketing and Branding in Global Markets
DEAN CUNNINGHAM was previously CEO of Kunooz Oman, a mining company in the in the Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East. During this time, he was also involved in a government-sponsored think tank with a mandate to diversify Oman away from oil and implement a roadmap for the long-term sustainability of the local mining sector. He was recognised in the country’s Top 100 CEO list in 2017.
In 2007, Dean joined Nedbank Securities as Head of Mining Equity where he was involved in the listing of TWP. He later moved to TWP and ran its private equity/investment banking arm, TWP Investments (TWPI). When Basil Read later acquired TWP he became Executive Director of Corporate Finance for Global M&A. As a result of the relationship between TWPI and Pan African Resources, Dean later moved to Auroch Minerals as Managing Director in order to facilitate its disinvestment and project exit.
Prior to this, Dean ran a successful business – Micofin – with a small team conducting research and advisory work to the South African, African and Middle Eastern mining sectors. Here, services and expertise included: corporate finance, capital raising, M&A and private equity. Throughout his tenure at Micofin, Dean was involved in several successful and well-known projects and transactions, both locally and internationally.
Dean commenced his career in South Africa and has worked, in an advisory and analytical capacity, on both the sell-side and the buy-side. By 1994 he was Head of Mining Research for a private investment bank and was rated in gold, coal and platinum.
Dean holds an Honors degree in Mining Engineering obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is also a non-practicing Member of the JSE in South Africa and holds a Marketing and Branding in Global Markets Programme certificate from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
Over the years, Dean’s experience has focused on mining and resources. Within the sector he has gained experience in preparing companies for disinvestment, listing, restructuring and expansion. Furthermore, he has experience in M&A, corporate strategy and positioning, branding, team- building, risk management, stakeholder engagement and organisational change.

Solly has a strong operational background, from Bayer’s SA and later BHP Billiton‘s Samancor Manganese DMS Powders as Production Superintendent and Business Improvement in 2001. Thereafter he was promoted to Manager HR, then Operations Manager and then to General Manager in 2015. He drove the Strategic Alignment process and participated in the development of the business strategy and 5-year plan with the management team, drove cost management and maintained the ISO compliance within the company. He development the global marketing of the business, brand, managed quality control and development of new markets.

Ian is an Electrical Engineer and has extensive experience in the Renewable Energy Sector. He has been directly involved in the management of operational power plants as well as the development of numerous energy projects in Southern Africa. Ian’s experience as an engineer, project developer and entrepreneur brings great value to the team when it comes to the implementation of energy across South Africa and Africa.
